Bale Mountains National Park
The Bale Mountains are known for their high-altitude plateaus, alpine meadows, and dense forests. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including the endemic Ethiopian wolf and the mountain nyala. It is a great destination for hiking, horse riding, and birdwatching. The Sanetti Plateau, which is the largest Afro-alpine habitat in Africa, offers stunning views and the chance to see rare species.
